What does one think of when talking about fashionable clothes? Is it what's current at the moment?

I think to be fashionable is to know your style, know what suits your body and know how to execute an outfit.

To some of us fashion is an after thought; to me it's one of the most important elements in my life. Some of us as girls play with our mums high heels or clothes and it ends right there, for me it's something that never quite left me. Even though I was a tomboy as a child and teenager I still look back realize that I loved clothes even back then. I was and still am the queen of denim, I loved jeans and t-shirts and I had lots of them. Looking back I cringe when I see some of the clothing we wore, but hey in our entire defense it's what was in at the time.

Fast forward to an older more mature me I absolutely love everything in fashion, ok maybe not everything. I am the first to accept that loving something does not necessarily mean it's going to look great on me. Like all women I have parts of my body I hate too. So choosing the right pieces are essential. Don't force something if it's just not meant to be, stay true to what suits you and your body and always go shopping with that friend that's going to be brutally honest with you. The best part about fashion is walking out of that store feeling like you own it, like you are beautiful and confidant. Now that's the true art of fashion when that particular item of clothing transforms your attitude and lifts you to hold your head up high. Some people mistake that for being stuck up or superficial I say to those people that they have more problems than they let on.

Being a stylist it's what I do make people feel great about themselves, that is a very rewarding job in my eyes and couldn't picture doing anything else. Whether or not you need a stylist remeber it's crucial to be honest with yourself and stay true to what you love.
