The Fur Vest! Yes there was a stage when the fur vest and fur coat rocked the 80"s I even remember my mum having one of these fur coats ha-ha it was horrible! But they have come a long way since the 80's. Let me first say that I would only ever wear faux fur I could not wear anything an animal had to suffer for. The cut off sleeve fur vest is by far my favourite not only does it keep you warm but it also has a way of adding pizazz to any outfit! There is something luxurious about wearing the faux fur vests with an outfit it makes me feel glamorous anyway. So in my picture I have worn it three ways, all three are very basic and simple in saying that, that is the whole point to my wardrobe wars it's to simplify outfits so anyone can mix and match to wear pieces to look their best. First off we have classic blue jeans and a white long sleeve shirt, I’ve popped the vest over the top to add the flare and have also added some turquoise jewellery for a pop of colour. My tan Tony Bianco boots have been featured in all three pictures, as I love their versatility and colour. Look two is the all black look, I love this as the vest stands out even more so. It's important to choose the right tone and colour vest so you get more mileage out of it. This one I have is from French Connection and it goes with everything, as the colour is the perfect neutral. Pairing this over the black looks fab. Look three is again another classic look, my favourite stripes, blue ripped jeans and the vest. See it's super easy to do and I'm sure you could pair the vest with just about anything in your wardrobe. Make sure you buy a half decent quality one, as some of them tend to look manky over time. XX
